David la Chapelle

This assignment, I researched the career and visual style of photographer David LaChapelle, focusing on his use of color, surreal compositions, and bold imagery. I designed the presentation in a magazine-inspired format, using large-scale imagery and minimal text to let the work speak for itself. Each slide focuses primarily on the title of a piece and its visual impact, creating a presentation that feels more like an editorial spread than a traditional research presentation. This approach allowed me to explore how layout, typography, and image selection can communicate information without relying heavily on text.
