Daily equipment checklist

As one of my school assignments, I helped digitize Solve Energy’s equipment inspection process by turning a paper checklist into a Google Form and automating the workflow with Google Sheets and Zapier. The system organized inspection data, captured photos of equipment issues, and automatically notified the right people when problems were reported.

What I Built

  • Digitized the existing equipment inspection checklist into a Google Form

  • Added required fields, validation, equipment failure logic, and photo uploads

  • Connected form submissions to Google Sheets for organized data tracking

  • Built Zapier triggers and actions to automate the workflow

  • Set up conditional alerts and formatted email notifications for equipment issues

  • Created QR codes linking to the inspection form so one could be placed on each piece of equipment for quick access

  • Tested the workflow with the office manager, troubleshooting missing data, email delivery, and other issues

  • Performed final validation to ensure the entire workflow worked reliably

Solv Energy Merch Concept

I explored a merchandise concept for Solve Energy inspired by their work in New Mexico. Drawing from the cultural and visual context of the local Ute community, I incorporated regional influences alongside Solve Energy’s existing brand identity to create a concept that felt connected to the site and its surrounding community.

The project was an exploration of how Solve Energy’s visual identity could be adapted into more location-specific merchandise.
